Service Repairs & MOT

If your vehicle requires an MOT inspection, Lookers Leasing will notify your company 28 days prior to the date an inspection is due. In order to avoid delay in renewing your Vehicle Excise Licence, please ensure your MoT is carried out as soon as possible and the certificate is forwarded to Lookers Leasing immediately.
Remember, it is an offence to drive a motor vehicle without a valid MoT certificate or tax.

Following latest MoT Windscreen Regulations, users are respectfully reminded to check their windscreens for damage prior to the test. Lookers Leasing will not accept re-test fees solely due to windscreen defects.

Any vehicle having in excess of 8 seats (excluding the driver) requires an MoT on or before the first anniversary of initial registration in the UK and thereafter every 12 months.

SERVICING AND REPAIR

As the driver of the vehicle it is your responsibility to ensure that it is serviced and maintained in accordance with manufacturer’s recommendations.
When taking your vehicle to be serviced or repaired, simply book it in to your nominated dealership under the name of Lookers Leasing. This will ensure correct authorisation and billing procedures are followed.

They will call Lookers Leasing for authorisation to carry out the work, thereby ensuring that you are not charged. Your Company may have set limits for expenditure on broken, damaged or missing items – if unsure you can refer to our Maintenance Control team for guidance. On completion of the service work carried out, please check that your service book has been correctly stamped showing date and mileage, and returned to you.
